International Terminal Fees – Effective 6 October 2025

Air New Zealand Cargo is introducing an updated International Terminal Fee structure to better reflect the true cost of handling cargo and align with global industry standards.

 Why the change?

Aligns with global Cargo Terminal Operator (CTO) practices

Ensures fees reflect actual labour, equipment, and handling effort

Delivers greater transparency and consistency across shipment types

What's changing?

Fees are now based on handling type: loose vs. unitised cargo

Import and export shipments are charged separately, based on operational effort

A moderate fee increase may apply depending on your shipment mix

 Important

To ease the transition, no CPI-based increase will apply on 1 January 2026. This avoids back-to-back adjustments for customers.
