International terminal fees
From 26 August 2026, Air New Zealand Cargo will reinstate the ULD Demurrage Programme for customers collecting Air NZ and Unilode (R7 and R9) ULDs from Auckland.
Customers will receive a 2-day free loan period. From the third loan day, a charge of NZD $55 per ULD, per day (plus GST) will apply. ULDs not returned within 30 days may be considered lost and replacement charges may apply.
This programme supports the timely return of ULDs, helping improve equipment availability, maintain reliable cargo services, and ensure fair access to shared equipment across our network.

Terminal fees
In October 2025, we introduced a revised international terminal fee structure to simplify how terminal fees are applied and provide greater transparency for customers. As part of this change, the annual fee review that would normally occur at the beginning of the calendar year was deferred.
Going forward, international terminal fees will be reviewed annually in line with Air New Zealand's financial year, with any approved changes taking effect in July.
